This paper presented the detection principle of ammonia nitrogen sensor, and gave the design methods of structure and circuit of smart ammonia nitrogen sensor. The paper emphasized the calibration algorithm for ammonia gas sensor and ammonium ion sensor, and data fusion algorithms of multi-sensor. Testing and analysis of the performance of smart ammonia sensor were carried out. The smart sensor which integrates ammonia sensitive, ammonia ion, pH and temperature probes can detect the ammonia nitrogen content in water in situ and quickly.
