Radiation source has strong social sensitivity. It may cause incalculable damages to the human society and environment no matter it is discarded or leaked. In order to further benefit the mankind and society, it is particularly important to regulate its application and the safety supervision. This paper introduces an Internet of Things based application system which integrates multiple functions such as radiation sources monitoring, RFID electronic tags, GPS geo-positioning, displacement detection, video surveillance and management. It reduces the risks and stolen events of radiation source and achieves regulation of the radiation sources’ safety accurately and efficiently.
