Long-term implementation of family planning policy accounts for the miniaturization trend of family size in rural china. During the course of rural-urban immigration on the scale,miniaturization of family size induced labor-saving techno-logical progress,while the structural deviation of rural labor supply and demand has led to the mandatory substitution for capi-tal to labor. Two alternative actions with some differences,which increase the agricultural productivity rapidly and speed up the pace of transformation for traditional agriculture to modern agriculture,promoted the agricultural economic growth.
