背景:皮肤源祖细胞是存在于哺乳动物真皮层中的一种新型多能祖细胞.近年来,皮肤源祖细胞在再生医学中的研究及应用都有了很大进展.目的:对皮肤源祖细胞的研究现状及新进展作一综述.方法:应用计算机检索CNKI和PubMed数据库中1998年1月至2011年12月关于皮肤源祖细胞的文章,在标题和中以“皮肤源祖细胞,毛囊干细胞,再生医学,组织工程”或“skin-derived precursor,hair-fol icle,stem cel s,neurons,schwann cel s,smooth muscle cel s,insulin-producing cel s,bone repair,regenerative medicine,tissue engineering”为检索词进行检索.最终选择关于皮肤源祖细胞研究现状及应用前景的35篇文献进行综述.结果与结论:皮肤源祖细胞作为一种容易获得、具有多谱系分化潜能、易扩增、使用较为安全的成体干细胞,在神经损伤的治疗及神经再生、组织工程皮肤及人造血管的构建、胰岛替代治疗、造血系统重建、促进骨折愈合等方面均显示了较大的应用潜能及优势,在再生医学及组织工程研究中将成为一种重要的种子细胞.

BACKGROUND:Skin-derived precursors are the new kind of multipotent progenitor cel s that derived from the dermis. Recently, great progress has been made in studies and applications about skin-derived precursors. OBJECTIVE:To summarize the research progress in skin-derived precursors. METHODS:Articles related to skin-derived precursors were retrieved in CNKI database and PubMed database (1998-01/2011-12). The key words are“skin-derived precursor, hair-fol icle, stem cel s, neurons, schwann cel s, smooth muscle cel s, insulin-producing cel s, bone repair, regenerative medicine, tissue engineering”in English and“skin-derived precursor, hair-fol icle stem cel s, regenerative medicine, tissue engineering”in Chinese. A total of 35 articles describing research progress in skin-derived precursors were obtained for the review. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:Skin-derived precursors as a kind of adult stem cel s have been widely used in nerve damage treatment and neural regeneration, construction of tissue-engineered skin and vascular prosthesis, replacement therapy of pancreatic islet, reconstruction of hematopoietic system and promotion of fracture healing due to their advantages including ease to access, multi-lineage differentiation potential, easy amplification and relatively safe. Skin-derived precursors are a source of seed cel s for regenerative medicine and tissue engineering research.
