A new synthesis method of isoxapyrifop was described in this paper and its structure was identified by spectral data. The preliminary bioassay results revealed that isoxapyrifop exhibited good herbicidal efficacy against Echinochloa crusgalli (L.) Beauv and certain safety to rice at the active ingredient rate of 45 g/hm2.
