A method for recycle p-toluenesulfonyl chloride from p-toluenesulfonate in quizalofop-P-ethyl manufactur-ing wastewater was introduced. p-Toluenesulfonate was acidified, then reacted with chlorine. The reaction product of p-toluenesulfonyl chloride was more than 98%, and the yield was over 95%.
