生态教育观强调系统、整体、和谐和普遍联系.中学英语课堂是一个特殊的生态系统,要求教师充分有效利用各种资源,构建和谐生态课堂,将课堂教育教学活动视为学生精神活动的过程,应努力提高学生学习的积极性,创造自我,发展和完善生命.中学英语生态课堂具有多样性、开放性和统一性特征,教师应把握适合学生个体发展、给予学生充分的感悟时空、促进学生群体整体共同成长等原则,从师生关系、教学内容、方法设计和环境创设等方面构建生态课堂,提高学生生命质量.

Ecological outlook on education emphasizes relationship among system, integrity, and harmony. An English class in the Chinese middle school is a special ecological system, which requires teachers to take full advantage of resources, to build a harmonious and ecological class, and to regard teaching activities as students' mental activities. Teachers should strive to enhance students' motivation and to encourage them to innovate, develop and complete themselves. The ecological classes in middle schools share characteristics such as diversity, openness, and unitarity. Therefore, teachers should pay close attention to individual development, provide room for full comprehension, and to promote students' common growth. An ecological class should be constructed from various aspects such as relationship between teachers and students, teaching contents, methods design and environment creation, so as to improve students' life quality.
