Reverse osmosis technology is used to desalinate seawater by offshore Platforms. A study is performed on the effect of boron removal of the seawater desalinating system on the basis of water temperature at different seasons by the method of adjusting PH value of inlet water and increasing the reverse osmosis running stages in order to make the boron content of desalinated seawater meet applicable national drinking water hygienic standards.
