college physical education teaching has an irreplaceable function to improve college students' quality and to set up their lifelong sports consciousness; its teaching effects directly affect the quality of modern college students' sport consciousness development. This paper discusses the current situations of college physical education and puts forward its own proposals on how to improve teaching effects of physical education classes in modern college combining with the characteristics of modern college students.
