糖尿病是由多种原因引起的胰岛素分泌或作用缺陷或两者同时存在而导致的以慢性高血糖为特征的代谢紊乱,除糖类外,尚有蛋白质、脂肪及继发性水,电解质等代谢异常.临床上出现多尿、多食、多饮、消瘦等表现,久病可引起多系统损害,导致心、脑血管、肾、眼,神经等组织器官的慢性进行性病变,造成相应器官的功能缺陷和衰竭.对糖尿病病人应做好,健康宣教,使患者能做好自我调护;同时应强调药物治疗,病情监测等方面的护理,减少并发症的发生
