Starting from the basic idea of the short-line precast method, the paper presented the control technology for precasting and installation of the high gradient sections of box girders with short line precasting method for the Xiamen-Zhangzhou Cross-sea Bridge, taking the southern approach spans as example, and provides references for the construction of similar bridges.
