Development situation of ship-borne meteorological instrument was analyzed in this paper. Then design of the main apparatus, the sensor used in detection of wind speed and direction, the sensor used in measuring temperature and humidity, and the sensor used in measuring atmospheric pressure were introduced respectively. Finally, software for the meteorological instrument was developed. Results show that the meteorological instrument introduced by the paper provides advanced equipment for modern large warship.
