通过对某市21个高等院校的多媒体阶梯课室在扩声系统开启和关闭时的快速语言传输指数(Rapid Speech Transmission Index,简称RASTI)进行测试,利用MATLAB对每个课室ABCD四个测量点两种情况下的RASTI值进行分析和拟合,综合评价和比较两种结果,得出当离声源距离超过4 m时,启用扩声系统才会增加RASTI值,引入了提高因子IF ,计算表明不是所有课室开启扩声系统就能获得更好的语言清晰度.

The rapid speech transmission index (RASTI) of the microphone system in multimedia lecture theaters of 21 universities was tested. The values of the RASTI at four measurement points A, B, C and D of the multimedia lecture theatres were analyzed with MATLAB by curve’s fitting. By introducing the increase factor (IF), both results in the cases of the microphone system on and off of were evaluated and compared. It was concluded that the values of RASTI at the measurement points with the microphone systems on increase only in the case that the distances from these points to the sound source of the microphone system exceed 4 meters. Thus, the microphone system does not necessarily provide better speech intelligibility for all multimedia lecture theatres.
