Due to poor seal-up of designs and construction, hydraulic gate is likely to seep water, which has side effects on the operation of hydraulic buildings and their examinations and repairs. Based on the example of Gansu Huangshui Baichuan Hydropower Station, the paper analyzes the causes of water leakages of hydraulic gate and the treatments.
