The basic characteristics of Fibre Channel (FC)is described briefly. The advantages and disadvantages of three basic topologies and the hybrid topology are analyzed deeply in the application of integrated vetronics system(IVS),and points out that the new IVS will use the arbitrated loop or fabric.On this basis,the pros and cons of three FC topology expected programs of IVS is compared and analyzed,and points out that the fabric topology expected program can realize the effective unity of performance and cost of new IVS. The research in this paper can provide a useful reference for the topology design of IVS.
