This article is mainly focusing on the study of tocopherol loss during the process of vitamin E purification from deodorization distillate. Total tocopherol loss is within a scope 10~12%. Meanwhile the study is also analyzing the influencing factors of tocopherol loss in the process of methyl–esterification,refrigeration,crystallization,separation,and molecular distillation,and discussing the methods to reduce down the loss of tocopherols.
