Coal seam gas drainage is one of the main technical measures that control the coal and gas outburst, it has been used both at home and abroad in the outburst mines. The sealing quality is one of the important factors of influencing the gas drainage efficiency. The research of sealing quality and leak position detection method and the device can provide theoretical and practical basis to axial gas migration law re-search, reasonable hole sealing depth and hole sealing method research of drainage hole. This article introduces a kind of gas drainage hole sealing quality and leak position detection method and the device. Combined with the using in MengJin Mine , it proved that the method and the device can effective measurement sealing quality and leak position, which can effectively guiding drainage hole sealing operation, improve the drainage efficiency.
