Several halogen-free flame retardants were described which were used in FCCL and analyzed from the flame retardant mechanism. A adhesive used for FCCL was prepared with Bisphenol-A epoxy and phosphorated epoxy resin, carboxyl-terminated butadiene-acrylonitrile rubber(CTBN), phosphorated flame retardant OP935 and Al(OH)3, DDS and Dicy. The storage of halogen-free coverlay has 3 months, flame retardancy reaches UL-94 VTM-0. Besides, the integrated performances are excellent, can meet the application requirements.
