The paper described an efficient method for the chiral resolution of 5,6-difluoro-2-methyl-1,2,3,4-Tetrahydroquinoline, which was the key intermediates of nadifloxacin. The chiral purity was up to 99.5 %, the yield was above 42 %. The reaction condition is gentle and the industrialization of the production was achieved.
