With the rapid development of society and the ra-pid advances in technology, people put forward new requirem-ents of the technologies in life. Many of the electrical monito-ring systems are focused in thermal power plants, but now in the new era the study of hydroelectric power plant is also nec-essary to face. This article mainly describes the main problems and development directions of the electrical monitoring system of hydroelectric power plant.
