Given the fact, students majored in mathematics are faced with a new challenge of solving practical problems by resorting to both computers and fundamental mathematic theories, which as well sheds light on how mathematic talents can be well trained in colleges. Against this background, higher computer application ability among the students is desperately needed. The article con?ducts a thorough and deep analysis on current situation in Inner Mongolia University of Nationalities and it offers several specific measures to improve computer application ability among students majored in mathematics.
