《列宁全集》中文第一版翻译工作始于1953年,止于1959年.二十多年后,中央编译局根据《列宁全集》中文第一版出版后发现的问题及苏联出版《列宁全集》的最新成果,决定对第一版译文进行全面校订.在这次校订过程中有两处重要译文进行了新译,其中之一是把“党的文学”改译成“党的出版物”,其二为“爱国主义是什么”.《列宁全集》中文第二版两处重要译文的改译充分证明了深入研究列宁经典著作具有重要意义.

@@@@The first edition of the Collected Works of Lenin in Chinese started to be translated in 1953 and completed in 1959. More than twenty years later, the Central Compilation & Translation Bureau decided to thoroughly collate the first edition of the Works because they found some mistakes in the translation and there were some new achievements of the Works published by the Soviet Union. In the process of collation, there were two retranslated parts:one was retranslating“the literature of the Party”into“the publications of the Party”, another was“what the patriotism is”. The retranslation of the two parts is of an important significance in a deep study of the classical Works of Lenin.
