谈到中国传统译论,“信、达、雅”是不可避免会出现的翻译话语.即便是在拥有完备的语言学体系的西方翻译思想的冲击下,它依然保持着强大的生命力.本文试以其本体为出发点,通过对严复与“信、达、雅”、“信、达、雅”与中国传统译论、西方译论、传统文论的关系以及前人的批判五个方面对“信、达、雅”做一个多方位的分析,试图来阐释其保持强大生命力的原因.

When it comes to Chinese traditional translation theory, "faithfulness, expressiveness and elegance", is the translation of words inevitably appear. Even in the linguistic system complete with the western translation theory under the impact, it still maintained a strong vitality. This paper tries to the body as the starting point, through to Yan Fu and "faithfulness, expressiveness and elegance", "letter, expressiveness and elegance", and Chinese traditional translation theory, western translation theory, the relationship of traditional literary theory and previous criticism in five aspects of "faithfulness, expressiveness and elegance", do a multi-faceted the reason analysis, trying to maintain strong vitality interpretation.
