给予概念是人们对给予事件进行概念化的结果,给予句是给予概念的符号表征,给予概念与给予句通过隐喻机制而生成与扩展.人类对事物的概念化方式以及每种语言具体隐喻的思维过程都存在着相似于差别之处,所以,英汉给予概念和给予句的生成与扩展有同有异.本文拟从认知语言学概念化的角度,以隐喻、转喻等理论为依托,探讨英汉给予概念与给予句的生成和扩展过程中的同与异.
給予概唸是人們對給予事件進行概唸化的結果,給予句是給予概唸的符號錶徵,給予概唸與給予句通過隱喻機製而生成與擴展.人類對事物的概唸化方式以及每種語言具體隱喻的思維過程都存在著相似于差彆之處,所以,英漢給予概唸和給予句的生成與擴展有同有異.本文擬從認知語言學概唸化的角度,以隱喻、轉喻等理論為依託,探討英漢給予概唸與給予句的生成和擴展過程中的同與異.

The “Give” concept is derived from our conceptualization of the transfer event,and through linguistic representation, the “Give”concept is syntactically realized as the “Give” sentence.The “Give” concept and the “Give” sentence are expanded through the mechanism of metaphor. There exists difference as well as similarity in the specific metaphoric thinking process in different languages, so the generation and expansion of the “Give” concept and the “Give” sentence in English and Chinese have both similarities and differences. The present thesis, with the experiential view of cognitive linguistics as the starting point, has made a contrastive study of the generation and expansion of the “Give” concept and the “Give” sentence in English and Chinese under the guidance of the prototype category theory, the conceptualization theory and the metaphor and metonymy theory.
