The evolution of monetary in finance textbooks lacks a clear description, moreover, the understanding of the nature of money is not very prudent. Through referring to a large amount of data, the writer infers the formation process of money and its essence, and summarizes them combining with the economic characteristics of the new era, so as to promote the progress and development of the basic theory of money.
