This paper gave a description of the control technology mode of relieved-gas drainage by high-level entry along the strike of the working face in a high-gassy mine. It analyzed and determined the rational arrangement parameter of the high-level entry along roof strike by theoretical analysis and actual observation, and the rational position of the high-level entry should be 57 to 60m. The practice showed that this control technology mode for gas drainage from the working face is suitable for the actual condition of the mine and can ensure the safe mining of the face.
