This paper analyzed the influence of geological structures such as faults and folds on the coal and gas outburst and the seam gas occurrence, and described some techniques for working face and heading face passing through the geological structure zone. It pointed out by analysis that the coal and gas outburst has obvious regional characteristics, coal and gas outburst accident easily occurred in the geological structure zone, so the outburst prediction should be strengthened and the effective measures against outburst should be taken.
