The Ministry of Health approved Sacha Inchi oil as a new resource food in January 2013. This paper outlined the origins of Sacha Inchi and resources distribution both at home and abroad, introduced the preparation of Sacha Inchi oil,and its safety and nutrition,in order to provide reference frames for its further research and application.
