The structure and forming process of a longitudinal beam were presented and a segmented combination forming die for the component was designed. The springback after shaping the beam was analyzed and the forming process was optimized based on CAE tech?nology. The product and process defects can be forecasted. The application of the technolo?gy can realize the miniaturized manufacture of large-scale dies.
