The academic seminar on Yongpongshicun and Literature and Culture of Eastern Hebei, which was co-sponsored by Hebei Philosophy and Social Sciences Association and Tangshan Teachers College, was held on 2012 May 12. The experts and scholars attending the meeting affirmed the literature value of Yongpongshicun. They also had a lively and in-depth discussion on regional culture and other related issues. This seminar is of great significance on promoting further research to Eastern Hebei literature and culture.
