从语言表达角度看,孔子的语境思想可以概括为因人而言,因时而言,因地而言,因事而言.贯穿其语境思想的根本原则是中和得义.中和得义原则和西方语用学的恰当原则表面相似,但也存在巨大差异.最重要的区别是有无进化论“适者生存”的哲学背景.

From the perspective of language production, Confucius’ thought of context can be summarized as speaking according to communicator, time, occasion, and matters. The fundamental principle through them is moderation. The moderation principle and the appropriate principle in western Pragmatics appear to be similar, but there are great differences. The most important difference is the presence of the background of the theory of evolution which argues“survival of the fittest”.
