The concepts of operation and dynamic characteristics of the nanofiltration membrane elements are clarified. Meanwhile, the solving methods of operation state equation of membrane system and dynamic characteristic expression of membrane element are also given in this paper. Besides, the authors illustrate the change rules of desalination rate level char-acteristic curve of nanofiltration membrane element, which provides data basis for the software design and operation analysis of nanofiltration membrane system.
