Taking for example a cast-in-place concrete floor slab that has cracked in a street-side shop building, this article introduces how to study the development situation of deflection and crack of the load-bearing floor slab through the on-site static load test, so as to evaluate the performance of the floor slab. It also points out the shortcomings of the test.
