Magnetic resonance imaging logging tool(EMRT) is a modern logging instrument developed by COSL and has been com?mercial applied in many oilfields. In this paper, the operating principle, instrument performance and the performance comparison of similar advanced instruments of EMRT were introduced. The logging quality control parameters and the field application of EMRT were systematically analyzed. Combined with examples, the interpretation and explanation of the measured results of EMRT in sandstone reservoir were discussed at the same time. The results showed that measurement evaluation and explanation of EMRT were in line with the geological objective reality, and the performance index reached the the level of similar foreign instruments. Therefore, EMRT has great application prospect.
