萧绍平原与萧绍古海塘密不可分。萧绍古海塘虽已丧失海塘功能，但历史文物、文化教育价值极高。从实地考察及分析萧绍海塘列代兴修情况、历史价值，认为萧绍古海塘的研究与保护的紧迫性迫在眉睫，应对萧绍古海塘全线现在所在位置及各段塘型进行测绘考证，开展古海塘保护教育工作、建立“萧绍古海塘保护协会”，并逐步恢复已遭破坏的海塘。
蕭紹平原與蕭紹古海塘密不可分。蕭紹古海塘雖已喪失海塘功能，但歷史文物、文化教育價值極高。從實地攷察及分析蕭紹海塘列代興脩情況、歷史價值，認為蕭紹古海塘的研究與保護的緊迫性迫在眉睫，應對蕭紹古海塘全線現在所在位置及各段塘型進行測繪攷證，開展古海塘保護教育工作、建立“蕭紹古海塘保護協會”，併逐步恢複已遭破壞的海塘。
소소평원여소소고해당밀불가분。소소고해당수이상실해당공능，단역사문물、문화교육개치겁고。종실지고찰급분석소소해당렬대흥수정황、역사개치，인위소소고해당적연구여보호적긴박성박재미첩，응대소소고해당전선현재소재위치급각단당형진행측회고증，개전고해당보호교육공작、건립“소소고해당보호협회”，병축보회복이조파배적해당。
The ancient seawall of Xiaoshan and Shaoxing contributes a lot to Xiaoshao Plain.The ancient seawall is no long in function, but the value of historical relics and cultural education is extremely high.Based on the on-the-spot investiga-tion and analysis on seawall construction and historical values in past generations, it is urgent to study how to protect the ancient seawall, while the surveying and mapping on the location and type of the ancient seawall should be carried on im-mediately, and the protection education for ancient seawall should be spread out by setting up relative"protection associa-tion", and to gradually restore the damaged seawall.
