Schisandra chinensis (Turcz.) Baill is one of traditional Chinese medicines. It has been found to possess effect ingredients and some beneficial pharmacological effects. In recent years ,the research on measuring method of active ingredients in S. chinensis made certain progress. For further research and application ,this paper reviewed the development of the quantitative determination methods of efficient components in S. chinensis and its preparation.
