This paper, based on the summary of the key points of investigation of geotechnical engineering, listed the specific content of the analysis of site condition in geotechnical eng-ineering, with the evaluation system of the stability of the sur-vey and evaluation of engineering site, and made a comprehen-sive evaluation on the selection of foundation and bearing la-yer and the uniformity of construction site, providing a valid reference for investigation of geotechnical engineering.
