为解决高速公路作业区合流处经常发生的排队拥挤问题,将作业区警告段常用的固定限速改为可变限速控制,并通过车流波动理论研究限速标志与检测器位置之间的合理距离。应用VSSIM微观仿真软件模拟作业区在不同限速方案下运行状况,并选取合适的评价参数。仿真结果表明,在到达流量大于作业区通行能力的情况下,可变限速控制方案可有效减少通过作业区路段车辆的延误时间和排队长度,不仅提高了车辆通过作业区的效率,且可以明显缓解作业区合流压力,提高道路安全性。

To reduce the recurrent vehicle delay at merging zone on freeways,the paper puts forward one way which turns the tra-ditional fixed speed limits at warning segment of working zone into variable speed limits.Then a reasonable distance is determined between the speed limit signs and detector based on traffic wave theory.In addition,VISSIM microscopic simulation software is applied to simulate the operating conditions under different limiting options in working zones and select appropriate evaluation pa-rameters.The result shows that the variable speed limit control scheme can reduce the vehicle delay and queue length through the working zones.Not only the traffic efficiency but also security is improved with the new scheme because of the relieved pressure at working zone.
