以马来酸酐、三聚氰胺和9,10-二氢-9-氧杂-10-磷杂菲-10-氧化物(DOPO)为原料,合成了一种新型膨胀型阻燃剂,并通过熔融共混法制备了阻燃尼龙11。对阻燃剂的结构进行了表征,并研究了阻燃尼龙11的燃烧性能、力学性能、热性能和燃烧后炭层微观形貌。结果表明,当阻燃剂质量分数为20%时,阻燃尼龙11的极限氧指数达到30%,并且在进行垂直燃烧时达到离火自熄。随着阻燃剂含量的增加,阻燃尼龙11的质量保持率呈上升趋势,当阻燃剂质量分数为20%时,阻燃尼龙11在700℃时的质量保持率为10.18%,与纯PA11相比,提高了9.7%,但是阻燃尼龙11的拉伸性能与冲击强度均呈下降趋势。阻燃尼龙11燃烧后的成炭效果显著。

A new type of intumescent flame retardant was synthetized from maleic anhydride,melamine and DOPO,and flame retardant nylon 11 was prepared by means of melt blending. The structure of flame retardant was characterized,and the flame-retardant performance,mechanical properties,thermal properties and micro morphology of carbon layers after combustion of the flame retardant nylon 11 was studied as well. The results show that the limiting oxygen index reached 30%when the mass fraction of the flame retardant is 20%,and self-extinguishing from fire is achieved in the vertical combustion. The amount of residual carbon of the flame retardant nylon 11 get increasing trend with the increasing of the content of flame retardant agent. When the mass fraction of the flame retardant is 20%,the char yield at 700℃of the flame retardant nylon 11 is 10.18%and increases by 9.8%comparing with that of pure PA11,but the tensile properties and impact strength decrease. The char-forming effect after combustion of the flame retardant nylon 11 is significant.
