教育应使人成为真正意义上的人，使人得以生长，使人的生命价值得以提升。但长期以来我们的教育立足于常态社会，非常态社会（重大自然灾害背景下）带来的冲击启发我们对过去和现行的教育进行叩问和反思。灾害背景下的教育应对需转变陈旧、错误的教育观念，回归到关怀人的生命，以人的生命基础发展为本的教育基点上来。
교육응사인성위진정의의상적인，사인득이생장，사인적생명개치득이제승。단장기이래아문적교육립족우상태사회，비상태사회（중대자연재해배경하）대래적충격계발아문대과거화현행적교육진행고문화반사。재해배경하적교육응대수전변진구、착오적교육관념，회귀도관부인적생명，이인적생명기출발전위본적교육기점상래。
Education should make people able to become real human beings, to be creatures different from animals, and help them in their self-actualization. For a long time, our education has been based on a society in its normal-state. The abnormal state, i.e. big natural disasters, prompts us to inspect the present education. To cope with natural disasters, education shall let go of the obsolete concepts and shall return to the track of concern for life and its development.
