In this paper , the concept and definition methods of stakeholders were introduced;the current developmental situa-tion of agro-product geographic indications in China was expounded;the application of stakeholder theory in the protection of agro-product geographic indications was described , and various stakeholders in this protection process were defined , for the sake of providing specific and feasible suggestions and measures for the development of agricultural industry .
