The municipal road design as an important part of municipal engineering, and its design quality wil directly inf-luence the urban traffic capacity, good municipal road design plays an important role to al eviate the urban traffic pressure. This paper makes a deep analysis of current situation and the existing problems of municipal road design, and puts forward strategies to strengthen the municipal road design.
