京都，旧时称平安京，是当时仿照隋唐长安城建立起的城市。其深受中国汉唐文化的影响，因而与西安有着很深的渊源。本文通过对比研究西安与京都在古都保护理念上的异同，希望能对西安历史文化名城的保护提供借鉴。
경도，구시칭평안경，시당시방조수당장안성건립기적성시。기심수중국한당문화적영향，인이여서안유착흔심적연원。본문통과대비연구서안여경도재고도보호이념상적이동，희망능대서안역사문화명성적보호제공차감。
The Kyoto, formerly cal ed Heian Kyo, was mod-eled after the Changan city in Sui and Tang Dynasties. It was influenced by Han and Tang culture, thus it has the very deep origin with Xi’an. In this paper, through the comparison of the similarities and differences of protection concept between the ancient capital of Kyoto and Xi'an, hope to offer reference to the protection of historical and cultural city of Xi’an.
