2013年10月和2014年3月,利用水下声学设备在洞庭湖水域记录采砂船的水下噪声,以评估其对长江江豚的潜在影响。研究结果表明采砂船水下噪声声源级为150 dB re 1μPa@1m~170 dB re 1μPa@1m,平均值为160.56 dB re 1μPa@1m,能量多集中在1kHz 以下,峰值频率在500Hz 以下。采砂船水下噪声在各个频率上均超过了长江江豚的听力阈值,理论上采砂船水下噪声足以导致长江江豚的听力损伤。

From October 2013 to March 2014, we recorded the underwater noise caused by dredging ships in Dongting Lake with underwater acoustic equipment to assess the potential impact on the Yangtze finless porpoise. The results indicated that the source levels of underwater noise caused by dredging ships were between 150 dB re 1 μPa@1m and 170 dB re 1 μPa@1m, with an average of 160.56 dB re 1 μPa@1m, the energy was mainly below 1kHz and the peak frequency was below 500Hz.The underwater noise of dredging ship at all frequencies was above the Yangtze finless porpoise hearing threshold, which was theoretically high enough to cause the hearing impairment to the Yangtze finless porpoise.
