    This paper presents an overview of organophosphorus fire retardant of DOPO and its derivatives. The synthetic methods of DOPO and its derivatives was introduced in this paper, also including the application of epoxy resins, polypropylene,polyurethane,polycarbonate,nylon et al. Finally,the application foreground is forecasted.
