The detonating cord was widely used due to the excellent explosion transfer performance. The advanta-ges and disadvantages of different plastic detonating cord production process were introduced. In the actual produc-tion,the PLC and inverter were combined with the technology of man-machine interface assist parameter settings. The rope machine and extruder could work synchronously when the coating process got improved,which effectively solved the problem of safety interlocking and man-machine isolation when the coating was not interrupted. The pneumatic switching detected the fine medicine dosage signal and put it into the PLC,then the robot automatically marked off fine on the plastic coating according to the rope running speed and time. The technology reduced the stopping times and improved the production efficiency and intrinsic safety in the production process.
