结合武夷山市气象为新农村建设服务的现状，指出当前制约农村气象服务水平的因素主要是气象科技发展和现代化程度不高、农村气候资源的开发利用意识不强、气象事业投入不足、气象灾害预警响应体系建设不完善等。提升气象为新农村建设服务的能力和水平，应当以保障农业生产和农民生命财产安全为主要目标。为减少气象灾害损失，进一步推进武夷山市新农村建设工作的稳步发展提供了依据。

Based on the status of ser-vices meteorology provides in new coun-tryside construction in Wuyishan City, major restricting factors of meteorological services in the countryside were pro-posed,including low level of technology, poor development awareness of meteoro-logical resources,inadequate investment, lack of an effective disaster alarming and responding system, etc. To improve the capacity and efficiency of meteorological services in building new countryside with protecting agricultural production and farmers’ life and properties as the most important goal.The study provides a basis for further advancing the steady development of the new countryside and reducing the loss caused by meteorologi-cal disasters.
