随着计算机控制技术的不断发展，过程控制系统得到广泛的应用，过去引进的生产线都有过程控制系统以及可视化系统。由于计算机硬件更新太快，几年后就购买不到同型号服务器备件，若要请外国专家来安装整个过程控制系统，费用又太高。为了解决服务器备件问题，采用服务器移植技术实现了过程控制系统服务器国产化，降低了服务器硬件升级费用和备件成本，为企业创造了经济效益。这种服务器移植技术适用于所有 Windows 操作系统的服务器。
