马克思主义中国化的过程同时是中国特色社会主义形成和发展的过程。中国特色社会主义的整个历史进程不仅包括十一届三中全会至今的发展阶段，而且包括毛泽东思想的整个发展阶段，新民主主义革命阶段也不能被排除在外。新民主主义革命时期是中国特色社会主义道路的孕育阶段；社会主义改造时期是中国特色社会主义道路的起步阶段；社会主义建设时期是中国特色社会主义道路正式形成并获得巩固发展阶段。

The process of the localization of Maxism in China is the process of formation and development of Maxism with Chi-nese characteristics. The whole historical process of Maxism with Chinese characteristics not only includes the developing period start-ing from the Thir Plenary Session of the 11th Central Committee of the Chinese Communist Party to the present stage but also in-cludes the whole developing period of Mao Zedong’s Thought. Besides, the period of the New Democratic Revolution should not be excluded, because the period of the New Democratic Revolution.is the embryonic stage of the road of socialism with Chinese charac-teristics, the period of the Socialist Transformation is starting stage of the road of socialism with Chinese characteristics and the period of building socialism is the stage of the full formation, consolidation and development of the road of socialism with Chinese character-istics.
