利用中国30个省（市）的面板数据，对经济集聚的工资效应和经济增长效应进行检验。工资效应的检验结果表明：国内市场潜能对地区工资的正向效应显著；就业密度外部性对地区工资具有“门槛”效应；东部地区的国外市场潜能和国内市场潜能具有替代关系，验证了市场范围的重要性；中西部地区的国外市场潜能和国内市场潜能并不存在替代关系，验证了分工模式的重要性。经济增长效应的检验结果表明：利用面板门槛回归模型，验证了Williamson的“倒U假说”与 Krugman和Elizondo 的“对外开放假说”显著成立。

This paper uses 30 provinces panel data of China to test the wage effects and economic growth effects of economic agglomeration .The test of wages effect showed that :the domestic market potential is very significant positive on regional wages ;employment density's externality has "threshold"effect on regional Wages ;the foreign market potential and domestic market potential can substitute to the eastern part of China , to further verify the market scope is important ;there is no alternative the relationship between the central and western regions of the foreign market potential and domestic market potential ,to verify the importance of the importance of division mode .The economic growth effect of the test showed that :using the panel threshold regression , Williamson "inverted U hypothesis" and the Krugman & Elizondo"open economic hypothesis"was set up .
